LEG FRACTURED.
While assisting to extricate a motor lorry stuck in the snow at Winchmore on Monday, Mr R,. Lloyd, a driver employed by Burnett’s Motors, received a fractured leg below the knee. As the lorry began, to move he slipped on the frozen snow and the rear wheels passed over both his legs. Mr Lloyd was removed to the Ashburton Public Hospital and! his condition to-day v r as satisfactory.
