AMERICAN AIRCRAFT.
INCREASE IN PRODUCTION. NEW YORK, April 28. America Avill produce nearly 100,000 aeroplanes in 1943. doubling the 1942 production, according to the vicechairman of the War Production Board (Mr AY. L. Butt). He said that too many Avar plants had been constructed through the need for speedy production. As a result management and labour must be prepared for idle plants in Avar-time.
Air Batt added that idle plants provided flexibility and Avould bo available in case of emergencies.
