STOCKMAN KILLED.
TRAIN STRIKES MOTOR-TRUCK. CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. When the truck he was driving was struck by a train at Addington yesterday morning, Mr Eric McKay Campbell, a stockman, aged 47 years, was' killed instantly. Mr Campbell, who was a married man with three children, and whose homq was at 21 Thorrington street, was employed by Dalgety ant] Company. He had been working at the Addington yards and was travelling in a light tnick away from the yards when the train from Rangiora, due at Addington at 8.17 o’clock struck the middle of the truck.
