PROFITEERS AT ALEXANDRIA. WHIPPED UNDER NEW LAW. cßep. 12.30 p.m.) LONDON. July 28. In Alexandria eight profiteers whipped niter conviction under the new law received from 10 to ‘2O lasher and wore then admitted to hospital. The lash has previously been applied only to policemen and soldiers convicted of serious offences.
