COOLNESS OF A WOMAN. DiyERTB COURSE OF MISSILE. LONDON, April '2O. The Paris radio stated that a grenade was throw'll from the gallery ol : the 'Municipal Theatre at Rennes while M. Jacques Doriot, the proAxis French journalist, was making a speech at a meeting of the French National Party yesterday. The grenade exploded behind the orchestra pit. One person was injured. The Vichy News Agency gave the French People’s Party version of tne affair. It says that M. Doriot was concluding a lecture in a crowded houso when a hand grenade was thrown from the second gallery. It would have exploded in the orchestra stalls but for the coolness of a woman who diverted the grenade, which burst in the orchestra pit, where it caused considerable damage. 'One person was slightly injured. The police searched the auditorium, but so far have failed to find tbo bomb-thrower.
