ALLEGATION AGAINST JAPANESE TOTAL OF 576 ATTACKS. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Rec. 9.15.) CHUNGKING, Oct. 21. The Military Council stated that the. Japanese made 876 attacks against the Chinese from the beginning of hostilities in 1937 to June, 1941, resorting to gas whenever hard pressed. The Council is of opinion that the Japanese will use gas more frequently in future owing to the increasing difficulties of their military operations in China.
