FREE FRENCH TROOPS.
RECRUITS FROM AUSTRALIA. VICHY WAR MATERIAL HELD. (Rec. 11.40.) DAMASCUS, Oct. 21. Free French troops from Australia arrived at Syria where every part of the French Empire is now represented. Large quantities of Vichy war material, including tanks, are being overhauled for the Free French, who are also expecting American tanks.
