«* FORMULA TO EE FRAMED. WELLINGTON, Sept. 10. Steps were being taken to determine a formula for the future for charges by the freezing companies, said the Acting Prime Minister (Mr W. Nash) in the House .of Representatives to-night, when replying to the opinion expressed by Mr A. Hamilton (Opposition, Wallace) that Clio methods included in the present arrangement were not workable. Mr Hamilton saici that some better method was neeaed to protect the farmer against the charges, After giving the history of the fixing of the charges, Mr Nash said he felt that the job was not to worry so much about the past, but to make sure that the processing charges in future were more reasonable from the producer’s point of view.
