HERMANS IN UNITED STATES. (United Press Association—Copyright).) NEW YORK, August 3. The newly-formed organisation of loyal Americans of German descent has issued a manifesto on tlm twentyseventh anniversary of the World War, stating: “As Americans devoted to the cause of freedom everywhere, we are determined to help to Win the present light, thus repudiating brute force. “To the Nazis in America avo say: ‘Wo challenge this master AA-hom you serve Avhether blindly or knowingly. He has killed Avhat is best of German life. We recognise him as the most brutalising upshot of all the dark, despotic forces which have ever sought to tyrannise the avo rid. You enjoy the spiritual and material benefit Avhich this democracy bestows. You are traitors to its hospitality. We shall light your destructive efforts. You shall not sabotage our Avorld.’ ’’
