DEATH IN TRAIN.
MAN POUND ALONE IN CARRIAGE CHRISTCHURCH. Aug. 5. Mr Alexander Garden, a retired mercer, aged 76, of 324 Pnpanui road, was found dbad in a carriage, of which he was the only occupant, on the 12.45 p.m. train from Lyttelton to Christchurch yesterday. A medical certificate has made it unnecessary to hold an inquest. ,
