MOTOR FATALITY.

FORMER FOOTBALLER KILLED. COMPANION SERIOUSLY HURT. (P.A.) GREYMOUTH, This Day. Mr Jack Steel, a former All Black footballer, was fatally injured in a motor accident at South Beach. With a companion, Mr Charles'Jones, lie was found in a creek early this morning. Mr Steel was dead. Mr Jones was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital. Mr Steel, who was aged 40, is survived bv his wife and six children.
