ECONOMY CAMPAIGN.
ARMY SAVING IN PETROL. ; LONDON, May 20. The Army has embarked on an economy campaign, especially' wuii petrol, with the object of reducing the consumption of imported goods and so helping to win the Battle of:the Atlantic. It is hoped to save millions of gallons of petrol -a year. The Army , has designated one d.aj, a week as a mechanical transport holL vf: day, and on that day all vehicles. Oxcept those necessary to maintain essen-r tial services will be taken off thc roaas.
