REWARD FOR ARREST.
EX-EGYPTIAN ARMY OFFICER.
ATTEMPT TO LEAVE COUNTRY.

The Government of Egypt lias offered a reward of £IOOO for information leading to too arrest’ of General Aziz el Masvi, a former Chief of Staff of tho Egyptian Army. He is believed to be in hiding after his aeroplane made «a forced landing when attempting to leave Egypt. The Cairo correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain states that the Egyptian Government has appointed the provincial governor, Bayoumi Nazzar Bey, to bo the now military governor for the canal zone. The appointment coincides with a general tightening up of restrictions on movements in certain parts of the zone. •
