“BIG CRISIS.”
WARNING TO THE JAPANESE.
STATEMENT BY HOME MINISTER.
(Rec. 1.30 p.m. ) TOKIO, April 9. Baron Kiichiro Hiranuma (Home Minister) to-day warned tlfe provincial Governors to bo ready for a big crisis in East Asia at any moment. A serious situation has been caused by the intensified economic blockade of Japan by the United States and Britain . Increased British and American aid to China made precautions imperative. Baron Hiranuma urged the governors to take all necessary measures to cope efficiently with any development and particularly urged training in air raid prec mtions.
