SUCCESSFUL EVENT AT TINWALD Considering the. season tliS show was an outstanding success both in the quality of the exhibits and in the financial aspects, it was reported at a meeting of the Timvald School Flower Show Committee last evening to finalise arrangements for the distribution of prizes. Most of the stalls had doubled their takings compared with last year. Mr Coombs, of Geraldine, and Mr Bade, of Ashburton, were thanked 1 for the excellent displays they staged and it was decided to write to them. The secretary was instructed to distribute the prizes. The meeting closed with a- vote of thanks to all donors of special prizes and all who helped to make the show a success.
