BASKETBALL.
TECHNICAL OLD GIRLS’ CLUB At tho annual mooting of the Technical • Old Givis’ Basketball Club last evening the following officers were elected: President, Mr G-. Bowman; vice-presidents, Mrs F. Holland, Mrs Harper, Mr W. Crawford; secretary and treasurer, Miss 0. Edmonds; club captain, Miss A. Hawkes; delegate to Association, Miss I. McLennan. It was decided to enter two teams in tho Ashburton Basketball Association’s competitions, a senior A team and senior B team.
Wednesday night was selected for practices, the first to be held next week.
