SOCIAL COMMITTEE
ANNUAL MEETING AT RAKAIA.
The annual meeting of the Rakaia Citizens’ Social Committee was held in the Public Library on Tuesday, Mr B. McNamara presiding. , The report showed that •23 soldiers had been honoured.
The balance-sh/eet, which was considered very satisfactory, showed a credit of £96 12s 4d.
The committee was re-elected, with Mr B. McNamara as chairman, Mr P. Breach secretary, Mr A. Allan treasurer and the Rev. W. Wisdom auditor. A donation was received from the Rakaia Women’s Basketball Club.
