THE FIFTH BIRTHDAY PARTY.

PRESENTATION TO CHAPLAIN. The third Canterbury Life Boy team held its fifth birthday party last evening in St. Andrew’s Hall. There was a very large attendance of boys and some adults were, also present. An interesting programme of games and competitions was held. Sapper was served and the birthday cake was cut by Mrs R. S. Watson to whom the leader (Mis M. I. Woods) presented' a bouquet with thanks for the. assistance she had given to the team.

A framed etching was presented to the Rev. R. g. Watson by Alan McKenzie, who, with Miss Woods, thanked the Chaplain for the help lie had given and the interest he had taken in the team, since he established it five years ago.
