The totalisator for the day handled £102,357 10s, / compared with £97,991 10s last year, an increase of £4366. For the three days the totalisator has handled £328,737, compared with £298,071 10s last year, an increase of £30,665 10s. Forest Bridge fell in the County Han-

dicap and broke a shoulder, and was destroyed. His jockey, Gollop, is in hospital.
