PROBABLE LONDON APPOINT- • MENT.

WASHINGTON, (December 17. It is .reliably stated' that President Roosevelt is considering Mr Norman Armour, United States Ambassador to the Argentine, as Mr Joseph P. Kennedy’s successor in London. It is believed that his name has already been submitted to the British Foreign Office.

Mr Armour, who was born of American parents at Brighton, England, is 53 years of age. He has been: a- member of . the United States diplomatic service since 1915. His wife was Princess Myra Komdacheff, of Petrograd.
