MAN MISSING.
BOAT WRECKED ON WARD ' v ISLAND. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, December 18. The 14-foot sailing beat Lupi, belonging to Mr F. Weston, of Elizabeth street, pstone, in which Mjr T. J. B. Osborn, a. single man, aged 29, went cruising in Wellington harbour on Monday and failed to. return was found smashed to matchwood this afternoon otn the eastern side of Ward Island. The police said to-night that the sails had been tied to the mast. Apparently Osborn had tried to row the boat; but it was awkward to row. No sign was seen of the missing man.
