ARAB REBELS’ ATTACK.
BRITISH COLUMN IN SAMARIA. REPORT BY ROME RADIO (Received This Day, 11.20 a.m.) LONDON, December 17. The Borne radio states that Arab rebels attacked a British column marching at night in the S'amarian mountains. They killed one officer and 12 other ranks, and captured! several machine-guns and ammunition. Regular troops assisted the Arabs, but it is not known from where the regulars came 1 . • 5 - ■
