PADDY’S MARKET.
FUNDS FOR HINDS SCHOOL. A “Paddy’s Market” in, aid of the school funds was held in the Hinds School recently, when there 1 was a large and representative gathering of the public. Tho stalls were well filled with produce of many descriptions and bargains were in keen demand, the willing helpers being hard l put to it in order to cope With ever-ready purchasers. Side-shows were provided to further brighten the evening. A special feature of these was the knocking of teeth out of Hitler, keenly patronised by young and old alike. , Mr J. Davidson, (chairman of. the School Committee) thanked all for their splendid support by way of donations of cash and produce. As a result of. the function the school fund's will benefit to the extent of £37 4s fid.
