g. k. McPherson wins bogey. \
A bogey match played by the Ashburton Golf Club on Saturday afternoon was won by G. K. McPherson. The best scores were:—
G. K. McPherson, one down; J. H. Chapman, two down; W. Hisdges, two down; J. Allen., two down; V. W. Russell, four down; H. G.'Ferriei*, four down; S. H. Truman, four down.
NORTON FRANCIS CUP. Amuri- 140, won the Canadian foursomes for the Norton Francis Cup, played on the Shirley golf links yesterday. Ellesmere, 148, was and Harewood, 149, third. Methven, 152, was sixth" and Ashburton, 156, tied for 13th place. The. Ashburton team consisted of J. H. Chapman, W. P. Anderson, F. P. Fogarty, and W. J. Heenan.
