Th|o Governor-General has been informed by the private Secretary to the King that his Majesty has been nlenscd to approve the following appointments: —

Brigadier (temp.) F. T. Bowterbank, Ncav Zealand Medical Corns. Direc-tor-General of Medical Services (army and air), to be appointed Honorary Physician to the King.

Colonel K. McCormick, New Zealand Medical Corps, Deputy-Director of Medical Services, 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force (overseas), to he appointed Honorary Surgeon to the King.
