An Air (Ministry communique says: 4 ‘Enemy attacks last 'night began at dusk, principally in East Scotland, the Midlands and* London, but were not on a large scale. Intermittent raids continued until the early morning. The casualties were not numerous. There was little damage in London and the Home Counties. J.n East. Scotland and the Midlands commercial ' and industrial premises suffered somewhat severely.” .
