THE RANGITIKI UNDER' FIRE. NEW YORK, November 5. The Mackay Radio received three distress messages in three hours, indicating that a- German raider was attacking a British convoy, including l the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rangitiki (16,698 tons) and the British freighter, Cornish City (4952 tons). A message received at 9.30 a.m. New Zealand time on Wednesday said the convoy was still being. attacked in latitude .52 degrees 45 minutes north and longitude 32 degrees 13 minutes west.
