RAINFALL AT STAVELEY. Rain fell on nine days in October at Stavelev. The total was 3.51 inches coin pa red with 2.6 inches, in October last year. Light to moderate variable winds at first, but strong south-westerlies. Gradually prevailing. Weather fair to fine but conditions cold, changeable and showery to-morrow. Seas moderate but rising.
