CHEAP RATE TO EGYPT. (Per Press Association). * WELLINGTON, This Day. The Rt. Hon. the Prime Minister has much pleasure in announcing that, thanks to the co-operation of Cable and Wireless, Ltd., arrangements have been completed for the extension to our men in Egypt of the soldiers’ cheaprate cablegram service. The service will be available as from to-day, when . cablegrams to soldiers and airmen serving in Egypt may be sent at the rate of 5d a word, with a minimum charge of 2s 6d for each message. No charge will be made for the address, which should include full particulars of the addressee’s number, rank, unit, etc.
