LODGE MEETING.

THE ASHBURTON DRUIDS. / The fortnightly meeting ol the Star of Ashburton Lodge, U.'A.O.IX, was held last evening, Brother E. E. Bleach A.D. presiding. The Bards reported on visits to sick members and sick pay was passed in favour of 17 members.

Thei Grand Secretary (Rro. F. E. Talbot) advised regarding members on active service, that' the hoard of management had ruled that the term, on active service shall mean as soon as a member lenvies Now; Zealand. He also stated that as the result 'of the Boards recent appeal for donations to the Canterbury Provincial Patriotic fund the sum of £IOO had been handed to the Patriotic Council in the name of the Druids of Canterbury. It was decided to hold a bring and buy evening next, lodge* night and. to invite* the Success of Ashburton Lodge. Now that Summer Time is being observed it was resolved that the lodge mieetings commence at 8 p.m. in future.
