WOMEN’S HOCKEY.
JUNIOR MATCH AT LOWCLIFFE. The only women’s hockey match played in the Ashburton County on Saturday was between Wakanui and Lowcliff e juniors at Lowcliffe. Wakanui were the winners by 7 to 3. The game was bright hut Lowcliffe were at a disadvantage in being two players short. The other junior match between the Technical School and Methven was won by the latter by default
