ST. JAMES THEATRE. •'Stolen Life” showing finally tonight has a powerful story . * . glorious acting . . . lovely photography . . all made more entrancing by magnificent performances from Elisabeth Bergner and Michael Redgrave. *'A particularly strong and varied three-star programme is billed on Thursday and Friday with Chapter 10 of the Serial “Mandrake the Magician,” Gene Autry, popular singing cowboy is in top form in “The Man from Music Mountain,” an exciting story. Plenty of action, music, comedy and romance make of it an outstanding Western. Smiley Burnette and Carol Hughes, head the supporting cast.
Hailed as the merriest medley of misadventure the Biunsteads havo yet encountered, “Blondie Brings Up Baby,” once more enlists the services of that brilliant stellar quartette featured in the previous films. Again Penny Singleton is the enthusiastic and well-mean-ing Bloiulie; Arthur Lake, the harassed and bewildered Dagwood; Larry Simms, that little rugged individualist, Baby Dumpling and Daisy is still the cute pup.
