ATTACK ON HAIFA.

CIVILIANS KILLED OR WOUNDED LONDON, July 25. It is officially stated that 10 Italian bombers swept from the south-east and dropped between 80 and 100 bombs on Haifa, in Palestine, killing 46 civilians and wounding 88. A communique states: “Italian planes again bombed the naval base at Alexandria and Haifa. Fires broke out at Haifa. An Italian submarine was lost, but there are no details.”
