ALEXANDRIA RAIDED.
BOMBS CAUSE SLIGHT DAMAGE. DROPPED INDISCRIMINATELY. (Received This Day, 10.40 a.m.) CAIRO, July 25. A naval communique states: “One person was killed and seven wounded in an Italian raid on Alexandria this morning. A few bombs were dropped indiscriminately, causing slight damage.
TOBRUK AGAIN BOMBED.
RAIDS ON' LIBYAN AIRFIELDS LONDON, July 24. Italy’s Libyan port of Tobruk has again been bombed by the Royal Air Force, which also dropped bombs oil aerodromes in Libya, including that at El Gubbi. Raids Were also made in Italian East Africa. The first north-east Africa casualty list issued in Nairobi contains .39 names. One European sergeant died and another was taken prisoner. Tho rest of the names are'those of Africans mainly of the King’s African Rifles. Four were killed in action, one died of wounds, one was accidently killed, two wore accidently drowned, nine died, and 20 were wounded.
