CAPTURED BRITISH AMBASSADOR NEGOTIATIONS WITH NAZIS. (Received This Day, 1.15 p.m.) July 24, Asked in the House of Commons about the British Ambassador to Brussels, who was arrested by the Germans, the Under-Seqretary for Foreign Affairs (Mr R. A. Butler) said that negotiations were in progress for Sir L. Oliplmnt’s release, but he could not say how long they might continue.
