AIR CASUALTIES.

ONE NEW ZEALANDER DEAD. ONE MISSING, ANOTHER INJURED. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, This Day. • The following Air Force casualties are officially announced : Pilot Officer Noel Carroll Pettit, seriously injured in an aircraft accident on June 10. He is a son of Mr P. A. Pettit, of Gisborne. Pilot Officer Bewsher Eric Bell, son ol' Mrs J. D. Bell, of Gisborne, died on June 7.

Pilot Officer Kenneth Ivirkaldie, missing. His wife is Airs E. M. Kirltaklie, of Hampstead, London, and his mother Airs Herbert Kirkaldie, of Wadestown, Wellington, A brother is Pilot Officer ,T. Kirkaldie, of communications flight, Rongotai. DIED GALLANTLY. PALMERSTON N., This Day. News has been received by Air H. P. Lawry, S.AL, that his son, Pilot Officer Ronald Owen Lawry, previously reported missing, died gallantly as the result o 4 enemy air operations on April 24.
