’PLANES VIOLATING TERRITORY. THIRD GERMAN IN TWO DAYS. (Received This Day, 11.10 a.m.) BERNE, June 2. A Swiss aeroplane shot down a. German bomber flying more than 26 •miles from Berne. Four members of the crew were killed. A Swiss patrol shot down a second German aeroplane which fell in flames in French territory.' A Swiss patrol shot down another German bomber, making the third shot down in two days. A Swiss Army communique states that the downed German ’planes committed grave violations of Swiss territory. - . The last ’plane brought down caught fire, but the crew extinguished the flames and landed in a field. When surrounded by Swiss soldiers the crew drew their revolvers and tried to set fire to the machine, hut the Swiss warned them that they would shoot if the Germans did so.
