THE ASHBURTON CLUB. 1 At a meeting of the committee of tho Ashburton Bowling Club last evening, when the president (Mr E. A. Cockroft) presided, it was agreed that the match against the Allenton

Bowling Club, set down for to-morrow evening, should be postponed till Tuesday, January 23, at 6 p.m. The annual match against the Linwood Club was fixed for February 17. Votes of sympathy were accordeo the relatives of the late Mr W. Oakley and to Messrs E. H. Ory and G. Bowman, who each lost a brother recently.
