Mlb CANTERBURY COMPETITION.
A further series of matches in the Alid-Canterbury Lawn Sub-Association’s competition was played on Saturday when some of the games were unfinished because of the rain which fell early in the evening. Results were as follows:

Chibnall 2-7; Aliss Wall beat Mrs Dellow 7-0; Airs Redcleclift’e beat Airs McClintoek 7-2; Airs Neilson beat Aliss F. Brunton 7-2. Alen’s Doubles—Warriner and Aloore beat Bell and Loach 9-3; Todcl and Ayton beat McClintoek and Watson 9-1. Women’s Doubles —Alisses Drummond and "Wall beat Alesdamcs Chibnall and Dellow 7-3; Alesdamcs RcddeclifFe and Neilson beat Airs AleClintoek and Aliss Brunton 7-1.
Combined Doubles —-Warmer and Miss Drummond beat Bell and Mrs
Chibnall 9-1; Moore and Miss Wall beat Loach and Mrs Del low 9-2; Todd and Mrs RcddeclifFe lost to McClintoek and Mrs McClintoek 5-9; Ayton and Mrs Neilson lost to Watson and Miss Brunton 4-9.

Men's Doubles —Bland and Watson beat Harper and Neilson 9-2. Women’s Doubles—Misses Campbell and Fahey beat Misses Samuels and MoSherry 7-6; Misses Kilworth and Kelliher boat Misses Cambridge and Willers 7-5.
Combined Doubles —Bland and Miss Campbell beat Harper, and Miss Samuels, 9-6; "Watson and Miss Fahey beat Neilson. and Miss McSherry 9-5; Robertson and Miss Kilworth beat Emery and Miss Cambridge 9-5; Featherstone and Miss Kelliher beat Thomas and Miss Willers, 9-4. Methven 14 sets, Te Marae B 1 set. In a friendly match played on Saturday, Baptist beat St. Stephen’s by nine sets to seven sets.
