CONSIDERATION BY TURKEY. LONDON, November IG. The Istanbul correspondent of the “Daily Herald” says that Turkey is considering the Rumanian proposal that the Balkan Entente countries Rumania, Turkey, Greece, and Yugoslavia —should invite Italy, Hungary and Bulgaria to join them in a “Balkan peace front.”
RED CROSS FUND. ENGLAND’S TOTAL NOW £657,000. LONDON, November 16. The Lord Mayor’s Red Cross and St. Jolm Ambulance fund rose to £657,000 last night. Among the donations was £2OOO as a first instalment from the South African Rod Cross Society—British Official Wireless.
