SHIPS HIT WRECKAGE.

An east coast lifeboat, after 17 liours at sea, landed 46 survivors of two British ships which struck the same submerged wreckage on November 5. It is revealed that the' Ponzano, cabled yesterday, not the Matra, as cabled to-day, was the ship that, sunk an hour after the destroyer. The locality of the sinking of the Matra is not disclosed.
