WELFARE OF THE SERVICES. • ' ■ LORD NUFFIELD GIVES £50,000. (Received This Day, 10.5 a.m.) LONDON, November 14. The Secretary of State for War (Mr L. E. Hore-Belisha) revealed in the House of Commons that Baron Nuffield, in addition to other great benefactions already made for the Avelfare of the fighting forces, has offered a further £50,000' for the men of three fighting services. By Lord Nuffield’s desire £15,000 of this sum is to he spent on providing Avireless sets for the forces in France.—British Official Wireless.
