SIX RAIDS ON SATURDAY. OTHER- CITIES ATTACKED. LONDON, September 2.

A Polish official telegram says that tho Germans bombed Warsaw six times to-day. The Polish Embassy in London states that Germany stands as a wanton aggressor, and reiterates that Germans are bombing unfortified towns, with many civilian victims, while there is not a single case of Polish violation of the frontier. Last night, the statement adds, Germans bombed a train evacuating women and children from Warsaw. Many were killed and wounded. They also bombed other cities at 5.20 a.m., including Puclc, Radom, Modlin, Pultusk, Mobrvn, Warsaw, and Krakow. The raids arc extending to cities in central Poland. The Warsaw correspondent of the Associated Press of America says that air-raid sirens caused residents to scurry for shelter five times during the day, but German aeroplanes appeared over the city only once, in the afternoon. They were driven off by antiaircraft guns. The Warsaw correspondent of tho Havas agency reports that there is little change in the general situation. There was fighting all night and morning. The Poles claim to have brought down 33 aeroplanese, including 20 bombers, and also to have put 16 tanks out of action and taken 500 prisoners. The Warsaw correspondent of the Associated IPress of America describes inspecting .the ruins of the bombed apartment house in the workers’ quarter. Twenty-one were killed and 30 injured among those so far re-covered fyom the debris. ■ The latest, report from Warsaw states that so- far there have been 94 German air.raids. The hospital at Wielun was bombed. The Exchange News Agency reports that the bridge- at Ratibor was blown up. The Germans constructed an emergency bridge, and entered near Ratibor. It is -also claimed that the cjruiser Schleswig bombarded and captured the Westerplatte- munitions depot.
