LITTLE BRITON WINS CUP. NEW PLYMOUTH, August 31. In spite of showery weather there was a large attendance for the first day of the combined Taranaki and EginontWanganui Hunt Clubs’ meeting today. The totalisator handled £14,102, compared with £11,059 10s last year, ail increase of £3042 10s. Following an inquiry after the first race, R. Savage, rider of the winner, was suspended from riding in. races for one month on account of careless riding which led to interference with Bimbo.
