FINAL SEGTION OF THE WORK. SEVEN STREETS INCLUDED. The final section of the Ashburton Borough Council’s street-sealing programme will be put in hand almost at once. The work, the total cost of Avhich Avill be £924, will he carried out as folloAVs: , Princes Street (East Street to William Street), at a cost of £2BB. Wakanui Road (Chalmers Avenue to Cambridge Street) 19 chains, £238. Wakanui Road (Cambridge Street to Oxford Street), £76. William Street (Moore Street to Kermode Street), £B2. Kermode Street (East Street to Mona Square), £BB. Kermode Street (William Street to Mona Square), £ll4. Cass Street (Moore Street to Mona Square), £3B. Though the North-East Belt Avas not included in the tar-sealing programme, the surface is to be graded and treated Avith a special ibitumenous emulsion.
