AMERICAN NAVAL BARRIER. VANCOUVER, February 16. The United States will no longer be neutral if any attack is made on the coast of British Columbia, Senator Key Pittman, ivho sits very close to President Roosevelt, told the “Sydney Sunday Sun” representative. Looking across the Pacific, but not specifically naming Japan,. Senator Pittman said the United States would defend a line curved from Alaska around Honolulu to Panama. “No hostile fleet will ever pass that barrier if the United States Navy can stop it,” he exclaimed.
