The Secretary of State for Air (Sir Kingsley Wood) was met on arrival at Le Bourget by the French Air Minister and, during the afternoon, accompanied by M. Le Chambre, inspected the aeroplane and motor factory at Villa Coublay. To-morrow he will visit the Aeronautical Exhibition in Paris and will return to Villa Coublay to see the French Army’s testing centre for aeroplanes.—British Official Wireless. The Paris correspondent of the British United Press says that Sir Kingsley Wood offered M. La Chambre an opportunity to build uip the French Air Force on British expansion principles. France will seek full British cooperation and may buy the manufacturing rights of the Vickers-Spitfire plane, whose speed, 365 miles an hour, far exceeds the French maximum.
