LODGE MEETING.

WAKANUI GOOD TEMPLARS. The fortnightly meeting of the Wakanui Good Templars was hold m the hall, the C'.T. (Bro. H. Begg) presiding over a good attendance. It was decided to hold the annual picnic to Peel Forest.

A railway station competition was held. Sister Turner, Bros. E. West, J. Sinclair and W. Begg were the winners. Supper was served. The annual church parade was held on Sunday, members attending the Methodist Church in the morning. The Rev. A. Me Bonn was the preacher. In the afternoon members attended tlie Presbyterian Church, where Mr S. J. Webb took the service. At both churches special Temperance services were held.
