SCHOOL FLOWER SHOW
ARRANGEMENTS AT ALLENTON Arrangements for the forthcoming Allenton School Flower Show are now well in hand. At a recent meeting of the School Commitee the date was fixed for February 25. The purpose of the show —to raise funds for a radio •set throughout the school —was approved. At a further well attended meeting of ladies on Wednesday, stalls and conveners were arranged as follow: — Produce: Mr G. H. Rollinson and commiteemen; home delicacies, Mrs G. H. Rollinson; cakes, Mrs J. McElliinney; sweets, Mrs W. J. Dickinson; ice cream and soft drinks, Mrs E. O. Bathurst; afternoon tea, Mrs D. H. Moore.
A hand of willing helpers has beien appointed to work under these conveners.
Schedules should be available for distribution in. a few days.
