SPRING BLOOMS

A DISPLAY AT TINWALD. EXCELLENT CLASSES TO-DAY. THE SUCCESSFUL EXHIBITORS. There was a fine exhibition of spring blooms at the Tinwald Parish Hall this afternoon, when the Ladies’ Guild conducted their spring flower show in aid of the general funds of the church. The tables carried many excellent blooms that roused the admiration of a large number of people who viewed them. Arrangements for the show were carried out by the Guild, under the direction of the president (Airs E. Brown) and the secretary (Airs C. Bell). Stewards were Alesdames E. Brown, C. Bell, G. Sewell, H. A. Childs, and C. Bayliss, while a cake and produce stall was conducted by Alesdames Brown and Bell. The afternoon tea room- was in the charge of Alesdames F. Sont-er, IX Knudson, AY. Roulston and F. Aldridge. , A special exhibition display of foliage and flowers was made by Air J. H. Grigg, of Longbeacli. The judges were:—Flowers, Air A. J. Alillichamp; cookery, Mesdames H. Bell and Ray Alillichamp. The show was opened by the Rev. H. A. Childs, who complimented the Guild members on the work they wore carrying out. The Prize List.
